I’ve been coaching people all of my life, but more formally since 1992. My clients are a wide mix across a variety of industries, ranging from executives
at a billion dollar, privately-owned global business, and managers of a medium-sized, regional retail chain, to an owner of a local company. And just about
everything in between — managers at all levels, owners, CEOs and sales teams.
I begin the process with an assessment of every person I coach, using a diverse set of tools that focuses on behavioral traits rather than personalities. Among these assessments are the DISC, the 360 Degree Assessment, and Strengths Finder 2.0, to name a few. Establishing a client’s baseline behavioral pattern gives me insight on how best to guide them, while equipping them with the skills they need to better understand themselves. In practice, this enables them to relate to, and understand, the behavior of others — in both their professional and personal lives.
